On 25 October 2019, Arjo Rothuis, one of the founders of the DAE, passed away.
After being a Senior Researcher Aquaculture Development at the Dutch IMARES institute, Arjo switched to Wageningen International in 2015 to become Manager International Cooperation Asia. Arjo was a very dedicated and professional colleague. With 60 years of age, he unfortunately passed away far too soon.
Arjo contributed greatly to the establishment of the Dutch Aquaculture Experts in February 2014. We are grateful for his drive and vision in this process. He worked with many of us in the past and we cherish good memories. He was a valued colleague.
